Korbin Jones
Seeds & Skin

Yes,

I let that man // settle inside me.
Age like cider. Honeycrisp.

All this sweating: a fever. An outward expression
of the men I’ve swallowed,
the fear I’ve swallowed // since meeting him.

Is like my silence—caused by fermentation.

And yet I want to press my tongue into him,
rip it from his body. Present this dying torso
which for him // I have prepared.
Kiss him softly on the neck.

Call him Daddy.
