Transition Poem 64 @ Jan. 11, 2017

Sharon Dolin
A Momentary Stay Against Confusion

Why not prolonged confusion
against a momentary stay

or a momentary confusion
against a longer stay

why not a momentary lay
against contusion

why choose clarity
over confusion

and the moment over
the continuing confusion of

every world’s stay

and why against
instead of for

a momentary stay for
confusion

confusing moments
for the staying.
